Wave Solder Machine Operator

Job Purpose:

Assemble Electronic Circuit Boards per specifications and ensure quality is a priority. Responsible for the set-up and operation of a wave solder machine. Adjusts the speed, temperature, and makes other adjustments to accommodate varying types and sizes as appropriate.

Nature of Duties:

• Hand soldering of electronic components on circuit boards for initial build, touch up, and/or repair
• Set up Wave Solder Machine per profile
• Monitor product for quality issues
• Repair/Rework defects after wave
• Build pallets
• Run pallets/fixtures for the line, remove masking and fixtures
• Will work in all areas of Production
• Monitor product for quality issues
• Ability to sit, stand, walk and bent for long periods of time
• Duties as assigned
• Overtime is a MUST

Education and Experience Requirements:

• Able to work independently
• Able to problem solve
• Good communication skills
• Solder certified
• Good attendance
• Position includes walking, bending, standing, some sitting and some lifting
• Must be able to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
