As Sr. Product Owner I, you'll build strong relationships with Government stakeholders and understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives. The PO serves as the primary point of contact in their respective product areas, ensuring alignment between the product development roadmap and Government priorities. - Work with the government to understand and distill requirements. Align on vision of the product with a clear understanding of users and communicate minimum viable product requirements and then nice to haves. Also work closely with delivery team to relay the needs of the government and review completed work to ensure it meets acceptance criteria.
What you'll need to succeed:
- You have a minimum of ten (10) years of IT experience, focusing on agile projects
- You have at least four (4) years of experience as a Product Owner for large, complex technical delivery
- You have demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with Government stakeholders and understand their requirements, challenges, and objectives. The PO will serve as the primary point of contact in their respective product areas, ensuring alignment between the product development roadmap and Government priorities.
- You have experience developing a comprehensive capability strategy.
- You have experience creating and maintaining a clear and prioritized product roadmap that aligns with the Government's objectives and timelines.
- You have experience collaborating with engineering, design, operations, and other teams to define features, functionalities, customer experiences, customer care processes, and project milestones.
- You can translate Government needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and use cases, and clearly communicate these requirements to development teams and ensure accurate implementation.
- You will ensure the quality and performance of products meet Government standards and compliance requirements.
- You will coordinate testing and validation processes to guarantee reliability, security, and functionality.
- You have experience preparing reports and presentations that effectively communicate product plans, progress, and results.
- You have, at a minimum, a bachelor's degree in Information Technology Management or other comparable degree or experience.
- You possess a TS/SCI with CI Poly
SALARY RANGE: $138,000 - $270,000 The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:
- The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience
- The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs
- Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation
- This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:
- Performance-based bonuses
- Company-paid training and/or certifications
- Referral bonuses
