PMI is looking for a Manager, Performance Marketing, who is a strategic and hands-on leader responsible for accelerating customer acquisition, conversion, and revenue growth through paid digital media. This role owns campaign strategy, daily optimization, and budget management across channels including search, social, programmatic (DV360), affiliate, and emerging platforms-managing the paid media mix and key performance metrics such as CAC, MER, ROAS, and CVR.

Leading a small internal team and agency partners, the Manager is accountable for media execution, budget allocation, bidding strategies, creative testing, messaging, and audience segmentation to drive full-funnel efficiency and growth.

This role partners with analytics, brand, web, and demand generation teams to ensure paid investments are insight-led and aligned to business goals. The Manager also leads performance reporting and retrospectives, translating results into clear strategic improvements.

What you'll bring to the role:



  • Lead strategy, execution, and optimization of paid media campaigns across search, social (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok), affiliate, and emerging platforms.
  • Manage campaign development, including platform setup, audience targeting, bidding, creative delivery, and budget pacing.
  • Define and implement testing frameworks across creative, targeting, and landing page experiences to improve efficiency and scale.
  • Collaborate with analytics and MarTech to improve attribution, tracking, and reporting infrastructure.
  • Partner with creative teams to guide asset development and testing based on performance insights.
  • Lead media mix planning, forecasting, and real-time budget reallocation based on performance.
  • Monitor digital advertising trends to inform strategic adjustments and identify growth opportunities.
  • Manage agency relationships and internal contributors with clear KPIs and accountability.



Role Qualifications:




  • 10+ years of experience in digital or performance marketing, with ownership of paid acquisition strategy and campaign execution.
  • Proven success managing campaigns across Google, LinkedIn, Meta, and TikTok with measurable business impact.
  • Experience leading structured media testing and applying learnings to performance strategy.
  • Background in campaigns supporting digital learning products, membership models, or professional certifications preferred.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills; able to turn insights into clear action.
  • Familiarity with DV360, Trade Desk, or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, Business, or related field; advanced certifications are a plus.
  • Performance Marketing Expertise - Proven, hands-on experience managing and scaling paid campaigns across search (Google Ads, Performance Max), social (LinkedIn, Meta, TikTok), affiliate, and emerging digital channels.
  • Campaign Strategy & Optimization - Skilled in scalable campaign structure, bidding, audience segmentation, pacing, and performance tuning.
  • Testing & Experimentation - Experienced in structured testing across creatives, formats, audiences, and placements; prioritizes and scales winning strategies.
  • Data & Analytics Fluency - Proficient in GA4, Looker, Tableau, and ad platform dashboards to extract insights and guide optimization.
  • Creative Collaboration - Partners effectively with design and brand to develop and iterate high-performing ad assets.
  • Attribution & Measurement - Familiar with incrementality testing, MTA models, and cohort-based reporting to inform investment decisions.
  • Budget Management - Plans, monitors, and reallocates paid budgets to maximize ROI across channels.
  • Agency & Stakeholder Leadership - Manages external partners and internal teams with strong communication and accountability.
  • Growth Mindset - Curious, proactive, and constantly testing to improve channel performance and campaign impact.
  • Some travel, possibly up to 5%, conditions permitting. Requirements include the ability to travel nationally and globally and may occur over weekends or holidays.


Globally located teams will require periodic work and meetings outside of traditional working hours
