We are seeking a uniquely qualifiedTechnical Writer I position to support Naval Surface Warfare Center Port Hueneme. ***YOU MUST HAVE AN ACTIVE DOD SECRET CLEARANCE*** Position Description: You will be a Technical Writer I supporting the project task lead in Port Hueneme, CA and be responsible for conducting technician tasks as assigned. Work location and telework: The government work location is the Port Hueneme, CA and you may be required on base, supporting the customer up to 5 days a week. Some teleworking or work from the contractor's location may be possible with the customers' approval. Responsibilities and Duties: Under general supervision, the Technical Writer writes and edits technical reports, brochures, and/or manuals for internal documentation, customer reference, or publication. This person researches and analyzes available literature and verifies copies with appropriate departments and may coordinate the production and distribution of materials.
