Your Opportunity

The Workforce Development Program Lead will design, implement, and manage programs that build a strong, diverse talent pipeline for careers in the nuclear energy sector. This role will develop strategic partnerships with universities, community colleges, high schools, and industry organizations to attract, educate, and engage students and early-career professionals. The ideal candidate will be passionate about developing future talent, skilled at building coalitions and experienced in workforce or education initiatives, preferably within a technical or highly regulated industry.

Key Responsibilities

As the Workforce Development Program Lead based in Lynchburg, VA, you will be part of the Talent Management team in Human Resources. Your work will include:



  • Design and lead workforce development initiatives aligned with Framatome's talent strategy and future skill needs
  • Oversee our Nuclear Technology Academy program apprenticeship
  • Build and maintain relationships with education institutions, industry associations and workforce development partners
  • Coordinate apprenticeship, intern, co-op and early career programs in partnership with Talent Acquisition and business leaders
  • Plan and execute outreach events, career fairs and educational campaigns
  • Develop communication materials and reporting for internal and external stakeholders



Qualifications

You've earned a Bachelor's degree, or comparable professional experience in lieu of degree, plus 5 years or more of closely related work experience including:



  • Experience building and managing partnerships with education or community-based organizations
  • Strong program management, public speaking and facilitation skills
  • Knowledge of workforce trends and emerging practices in early career development with proven ability to manage cross-sector partnerships and engage stakeholders
  • Familiarity with nuclear industry requirements, skilled trades pathways and/or STEM education initiatives
  • Proficiency in CRM or applicant tracking systems



Your Total Rewards Package

The range of base salary for the position is between $75,000 - $97,000, and may also include annual incentives, performance bonuses and benefits. Please note that the base salary range is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location.
