Job Purpose:

Lead all the aspects of the Finance function and ensures effective decision support systems by acting as business partner at global level. Driving the strategic and operational planning processes for marketing organization in collaboration with regional partners, including a comprehensive reporting system (full P&L with focus at structure costs and marketing investments) and efficient data management. Contribute to the innovation and renovation P&G process for Dry Pasta & Condiments categories at global and market level.


Key Accountabilities:

Category Innovation



  • Act as Finance Lead to the innovation and renovation Phase & Gate process for Dry Pasta & Condiments categories, ensuring compliance with guidelines, and acting as the custodian of internal controls
  • Support the regional Americas' Category team in understanding the innovation contribution to Global Pasta and Condiments, prioritizing projects, and optimizing investments
    Participate in the product development process, ensuring alignment with the strategy and executing plans
  • The scope of the projects will be mostly regional American projects (USA, Canada, Mexico, Brazil), while they might be asked to contribute to global Long-Term Innovations working closely with Global Category Leads based in Europe
  • Support post launch analysis by presenting key outcomes and learnings to global team


Category Strategic Finance



  • Support the preparation and compilation of the strategic plan for the full P&L
  • Prepare, analyze, and communicate specific reports, linking actuals with forecasts, identifying risks/opportunities, and controlling expenses (Structure Costs and Marketing Investments)


Category Business Partnership with Region Americas



  • Prepare and deliver monthly and quarterly performance reports, dashboards, and variance analyses
  • Ensure effective decision support systems by acting as business partner with Category and Regional stakeholders
  • Serve as the ambassador and co-pilot between the Global Categories, Regional stakeholders, finance community, and R&D, fostering transparency, alignment, and collaboration
  • Leveraging the new Decision Compass dashboards adoption
  • Ad-hoc analysis as required


Desired Skills and Background

  • 3-7 years in broad finance or controlling with strong financial and analytical knowledge
  • Background & experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems & general accounting concepts
  • Proven ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and effectively manage those relationships
  • Business acumen
  • At ease in dealing with Senior Managers
  • Experience in R&D/Fast Moving Consumer Goods would be considered an asset
  • Good level of Excel and familiarity with Power BI or similar business intelligence tools is a strong asset


As of the date of this posting, the estimated pay range for this role is $75,000 - $80,000, plus eligibility to participate in the annual discretionary bonus plan. The actual pay for the position will be determined by various factors, including but not limited to job-related experience, skills, education, location, and internal equity. This range may be subject to change over time.
