SAE International is seeking a results-driven Marketing Specialist (Temp) to support targeted campaigns promoting our industry-leading publications and professional development courses. This temporary role is expected to last approximately 8 weeks.

The position will focus on monitoring campaign performance, analyzing results against benchmarks, and recommending adjustments to tactics, messaging, and creative where needed. The Marketing Specialist will serve as a key liaison between SAE and our external marketing agency, helping ensure clear communication and smooth execution. Additional responsibilities include maintaining campaign production schedules in Workfront (project management software) and managing budget tracking across all related efforts.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Campaign Performance & Analytics: Monitor campaign performance metrics, conduct benchmark analysis, and recommend adjustments to tactics, messaging, and creative to optimize results.
  • Agency Coordination: Act as the primary liaison between SAE and the external marketing agency to ensure smooth execution, alignment with campaign objectives, and consistent communication.
  • Project Management: Maintain project production schedules in Workfront to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets and tasks.
  • Budget Oversight: Track campaign budgets and spending to support efficient resource allocation and ensure alignment with financial goals.
  • Marketing Execution: Support the planning and execution of targeted marketing campaigns for SAE's publications and professional development offerings, including coordination of creative assets and campaign inputs.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to effectively interact with and present to all stakeholders, including senior leadership.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Ability to hit the ground running with limited onboarding and work collaboratively across teams.
  • 2+ years of experience in marketing or campaign coordination, preferably in a B2B or product-focused environment
  • Familiarity with campaign execution across multiple channels (email, digital, paid media, etc.)
  • Ability to track and report on campaign performance metrics
  • Basic understanding of marketing budgets and expense tracking

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Preferred experience working within Workfront, Marketo, or related platforms.
  • Experience working with marketing agencies.

Standard office environment: remote or hybrid if in the Pittsburgh
