Position Title: Machine Operator
Wage: $15/hour Shift: 1st Hours: 7am-3pm This trusted locally owned plastics manufacturer is seeking dependable 1st shift Machine Operators to join their team in Perry, MO. Work Monday through Friday with consistent daytime hours and the satisfaction of being part of a company that values hard work, quality, and community. This is an associate to hire role. Machine Operator Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Operate machines to produce products - Inspect product for flaws - Perform secondary operations to parts if necessary - Fill out all check sheets that pertain to the job that is being run - Grind runner and scrap parts - Assist in any necessary operation in the plastics department, trimming excess plastic with box knife - Package finished product and complete custom/private label assembly and packaging, which could include one or more of the following operations - assembling multi-packs, capping, shrink wrapping, labeling, boxing, and sorting - Keep work area clean Machine Operator Requirements: - Able to stand, sit, kneel, or swat for up to an 8-hour day - Ability to lift up to 40 pounds regularly - Ability to bend and twist 75% of shift - Ability to use knives, clippers, and etc. QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the United States.
