Scheduled days/hours: Varies. Qualifications Required: At least five years of special education teaching experience in Northfield Public Schools. Applicant must demonstrate a Growth Mindset, Empathy, Listening Skills and a desire to help new and existing teachers transition to and work successfully in the Northfield School District. Previous mentoring experience preferred. Responsibilities: The Early Childhood(EC)/Elementary mentor will coordinate and mentor probationary Special Education Teachers in EC and Elementary buildings. The mentor will complete several tasks, including observations, participating in and facilitating meetings, and gathering/analyzing feedback through a needs analysis. In addition, it is strongly recommended that the mentor participate in the Foundation in Coaching training offered in Northfield August 11-14.
