Genesis10 is currently seeking a Technical Program Manager with a leading client in Pittsburgh, PA. This is an on-site contract to hire position.
Job Description:
This role will serve as the central point of coordination for planning, prioritization, issue resolution, and cross-functional delivery across our most strategic technical efforts.
This role bridges strategy and execution connecting engineering, product, clinical services, operations, and leadership to ensure initiatives are delivered with clarity, accountability, and measurable impact. You will simplify complexity, drive transparency, and create momentum across the organization as we scale our offerings and operational model.
Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of strategic product & engineering initiatives, acting as an advocate for end-users and customers.
- Serve as 'air traffic contol' to manage the sequencing and prioritization of workstreams across the re-platforming and AI Lab efforts
- Drive ceremonies such as PI Planning, Quarterly Syncs, & Dependency Reviews
- Help shape new operating rhythms and practices that increase speed, clarity, and impact
- Translate high-level objectives into clear, actionable program plans aligned to business goals
- Leverage your knowledge of software systems, enterprise architecture, and healthcare workflows to guide conversations and ensure alignment
- Evaluate how technology choices impact downstream operational and business processes
- Act as the connective tissue & facilitate decision making across engineering, product, commercial teams and leadership
- Build relationships and influence without authority to ensure clarity, accountability, and engagement across stakeholders
- Facilitate working sessions, stand-ups, and steering meetings with clear documentation and outcomes
- Define scope, timelines, and success metrics; manage risks, dependencies, and cross-team coordination
- Track and report on progress, risks, and outcomes in a way that resonates with both technical teams and executive leadership
- Create crisp documentation to support decision-making, communicate status, and scale knowledge
- Drive alignment through clear communication, surfacing blockers early and removing ambiguity
- Track delivery milestones, budgets, and resource allocation across internal and external teams
- Create dashboards and status reports for executive leadership
- Act as point of contact between internal teams and consulting/contracting partners
- Ensure that partner teams are working toward shared goals and timelines
- Own the integrated program plan and ensure alignment across both internal and external teams
- Track interdependencies, identify risks and/or blocker and propose data-based mitigations across product and engineering domains
- Identify, communicate, and help resolve execution risks and bottlenecks
- Surface critical tradeoffs and decisions to executive stakeholders early
Requirements:
- Strategic Execution: You have proven experience connecting strategy to execution, define priorities, and rally teams toward a common goal in Agile/Scaled Agile, especially around PI Planning & Release Coordination
- Analytical Thinking: You don't just track tasks you understand systems, diagnose problems, and drive solutions. You are a highly organized, systems thinker who thrives in ambiguity
- Relationship Building: You build trust with technical and business stakeholders (both internal & external), even in ambiguous or high-stakes situations.
- Communication: You adapt your message for audiences from engineers to executives, and you document decisions clearly.
- Technical Acumen: You understand software systems, architectures, AI/ML basics and how they fit into a broader enterprise tech stack and you have experience with Agile methodologies, SDLC, and tools like Jira, Confluence, and Smartsheet
- Project Management Fundamentals: ability to facilitate development of work breakdown structures and dependencies to drive a broader understanding of scope and complexity.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field and 8+ years of experience leading technical programs or large-scale initiatives in software, SaaS, or healthcare tech environments.
- Masters degree in computer science, Engineering, Business, or related field and 5+ years of experience leading technical programs or large-scale initiatives in software, SaaS, or healthcare tech environments.
Preferred Experience:
- Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), SAFe Scrum Master (SSM), or equivalent Agile certification or Project Management Professional (PMP)
- Experience in digital health, clinical workflows, or regulated healthcare environments.
- Palantir experience
