GENERAL JOB SUMMARY:
The Senior Corporate Attorney position is responsible for providing legal advice to the company, and for ensuring the company operates in accordance with various legal parameters. Liaisons with other departments, outside counsel, law firms, or online legal services if necessary. This position requires the ability to obtain a security clearance, if needed.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Provide legal advice and counsel on general corporate matters, including corporate organization, securities compliance, data privacy, risk management, and contract management.
Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of legal documents, including employment agreements, vendor contracts, NDAs, customer and service agreements, and license agreements.
Draft, review, and negotiate a broad range of contractual and corporate governance documents, including those involving licensing, procurement, sales, employment, insurance, mergers, and acquisitions.
Support and oversee the contract lifecycle management process to ensure efficient review, approval, and execution aligned with business objectives and risk tolerance.
Serve as the subject matter expert and primary legal advisor on employment law matters such as hiring practices, performance management, workplace investigations, employee relations, wage & hour issues, and terminations.
Advise on and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including those related to government and regulatory requirements; support company-wide policy development and training.
Conduct or oversee internal investigations and manage dispute resolution efforts, including litigation strategy, whether handled internally or by outside counsel.
Collaborate cross-functionally with HR, compliance, and leadership teams to provide legal guidance and training on policies, practices, and regulatory obligations.
Monitor legal, legislative, and regulatory trends to proactively identify risks and opportunities affecting the business.
Coordinate and manage outside counsel for specialized matters and litigation.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Juris Doctor Degree.
Typically requires a minimum of 10 years of related experience
Active license to practice law in California.

Ability to perform repetitive motion (keyboarding, 10-key, phones)
Ability to lift up to 10 pounds
