Minimum Job Requirements
Job Duties and Responsibilities Responsible for the accurate and timely processing of accounts payable transactions, which directly affect financial reporting and vendor relationships. Authorized to communicate directly with vendors regarding payment inquiries, discrepancies, and invoice resolutions. * Develop VKS procedures and work instructions that support a specific process or the manufacture a given part. * Work with Production, Quality and Engineering to ensure the accuracy of the VKS developed documentation. * Solicit operator feedback about VKS developed documentation. * Continually monitor and maintain VKS documentation to ensure currency. * Evaluate VKS usage to determine effectiveness. * Solicit feedback from Production, Quality and Engineering to determine VKS improvement opportunities. * Take pictures and document products and processes as appropriate to describe the quality requirements of the part. * Perform time studies, as requested. * Evaluate production performance data to support identification of priorities * Capture and report VKS related metrics. * Achieve due dates for assigned workbooks. * Other ad hoc duties as directed. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities * Must have strong English writing skills. * Ability to understand manufacturing processes and develop them into a narrative along with illustrative photos. * Knowledge of manufacturing software, Visual Knowledge Share (VKS), preferred. * Strong computer skills, especially Microsoft Word and Excel. * Excellent listening, verbal and written communication skills * Good organization skills. * Excellent interpersonal skills * Good computer skills, including experience in the use of Microsoft Word Education and Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Two years' manufacturing experience. Experience in creating visual work instructions is preferred. Associates or Bachelor's degree in English, Computer Science, Visual Arts, Creative Writing or similar discipline desired. Latitude Corp. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
