MV Transportation is seeking an experienced transit Operations Manager to provide leadership, strategic direction, and operational oversight for our transportation contract. This role is responsible for ensuring consistent, high-quality service delivery in accordance with contractual obligations, company policies, and regulatory requirements.

The ideal candidate will bring a blend of operational excellence, team leadership, and a strong customer-focused approach to help achieve performance goals and enhance overall service efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee daily operations to ensure on-time performance and sufficient driver availability.
• Manage all call center functions to support service quality and responsiveness.
• Foster strong customer relationships through direct engagement and proactive outreach.
• Recruit, train, and mentor operations staff to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with staff and support teams.
• Support safety and training initiatives to maintain compliance with all contractual and regulatory standards.
• Promote and contribute to a strong safety culture within the division.
• Maintain regular client communication to ensure expectations are met or exceeded.
• Assist with internal audits and operational reviews.
• Monitor and analyze key operational metrics on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
• Ensure adherence to all company policies and procedures.
• Participate in employee relations and labor activities as needed.

Talent Requirements:

• One (1) to three (3) years of transit management experience in a fixed route or similar operational environment.
• Experience in staff scheduling, personnel management, and employee training.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; able to work independently.
• Working knowledge of contractual obligations and compliance standards.
• Familiarity with company policies to ensure consistent performance evaluations and driver management.
• Experience with Novus a Trapeze software is highly preferred.
• Proven ability to manage in a high-paced, dynamic environment.

Starting salary range: $95,000 - $108,160
