Nurse Practitioner Hematology Oncology Clinic Full Time 85433BR Job Summary The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy. Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement. The salary range for this position is $100.48 - $130.31 (Hourly Rate). To learn more about the benefits of working at UCSF, including total compensation, please visit: https://ucnet.universityofcalifornia.edu/compensation-and-benefits/index.html Required Qualifications NP 1 Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing recognized Nurse Practitioner Program with a master's or doctoral degree aligned with the patient population and clinical role. Minimum of five (5) years of experience in a hematology or oncology specialty as an RN. With at least one (1) accumulated year in an Ambulatory or Infusion clinic. Minimum of three (3) clinical rotations in Oncology during Master's Level NP education. NP 2 Graduation from a California Board of Registered Nursing recognized Nurse Practitioner Program with a master's or doctoral degree aligned with the patient population and clinical role. Five (5) years of NP experience in Hematology Oncology in the outpatient or inpatient setting Preferred Qualifications Three (3) years or greater of recent NP experience taking care of malignant hematology patients in an outpatient setting. Able to perform Bone Marrow Biopsies and Lumber Punctures License/Certification California driver's license (CDL) if required for position. Current national certification from an accepted certifying agency and provide by first day of work. Accepted Certifications for Adult Outpatient position: Adult Outpatient (A-GNP-C, ANP-C, FNP-C, GNP-C, AGPCNP-BC, ANP-BC, FNP-BC, GNP-BC, ACNP-BC, AGACNP-BC, ACNPC-AG, ACNPC) Current and active RN and NP and Furnishing license in California. Complete a BRN recognized graduate master's degree program as a nurse practitioner. Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) Registration with Schedules 2, 2N, 3, 3N, 4, and 5 registered to a California address Submit enrollment with CMS Medicare and Medicaid through credentialing by first clinical day. CCS enrollment as appropriate for pediatric environments. Current AHA BLS. Curent AHA ACLS. State regulation requires that you have a supervising physician to practice Incumbents with less than 6 months of NP experience will be hired as a Nurse Practitioner UCSF Medical Center and Campus requires certain healthcare providers to be credentialed. In most cases this is done through its Office of Medical Affairs & Governance (OMAG) prior to the first working day. Credentialing and approval of the Standardized Procedures takes between 60-90 days but can vary.
