Job description: Job Summary: Layout, assembles, and welds a range of metals including stainless steel, aluminum, and steel. In addition, construct large complex units based on drawing and blueprints. Work from bill of materials (BOM), drawings, welding symbols, process sheets, blueprints, production schedule and check list. Move components into place from staging areas using crane to rig and move large assemblies and unit during construction process as required. Build fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools, welding machines, gas tanks, and torches. Set up and operate AC/DC welding equipment, select electrodes, gas flow amperage and other settings and weld components to suit requirements for configuration, structural strength, and visual appearance. Finish grind welds to meet cosmetic product standards. Maintain work areas in a clean and orderly condition. Consistently operate in keeping with all safety rules and requirements. Requirements: High School Diploma or Equivalent Aluminum TIG/MIG welding required. Blueprint reading experience. Benefits: Competitive salary Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance plans.
