Solutions Support Rep

Position Summary:

To direct technical product specification and pricing information to the customer with support from our Clients Sales, Production and Engineering departments.



  • Basic Excel experience is required
  • Any experience with Epicor Manufacturing or similar is helpful, but not required
  • Any experience with project estimation is a big plus, but not required
  • Solid customer service skills and customer service mindset is important
  • Taking customer requests, reviewing their technical data/specifications and putting together quotes based on information provided
  • Must have solid data entry skills
  • Must have excellent typing skills (please list WPM on resume or submittal comments)
  • Must communicate well over email and phone
  • Bilingual Spanish is a plus (not required)
  • Will help customers with orders, quotes, tracking, and any related issues


Essential Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Establish and sustain direct verbal and written contact with our clients Safety customers on such efforts that include technical, commercial, and price-based inquiries and topics.
  • Maintain timely and consistent communication with sales personnel regarding the status of pending quotations.
  • Secure needed information from customers, or their designated engineering representatives to accurately complete takeoffs/job bidding/quotations and orders.
  • Work closely with the customer and our client's engineering or Production Departments to ensure continuity of submittal, specification, or code issues.
  • Manage the schedule of Encon tempered water systems (TWS) and ThermaFlow Plus order deliveries with the customers.
  • Develop relationships with a variety of customers from different market segments to more easily obtain needed information for developing competitive quotations.
  • Receives, records, and coordinates the response to all customer complaints regarding the technical products and services as offered by Encon through the Customer Feedback Response (CFR) process.
  • Other duties as assigned.



Qualifications:



  • Must have mechanical, electrical, or manufacturing technical background, understanding or experience
  • Degree in STEM field is strongly preferred but will consider technical training school diploma or certificate in STEM field in lieu of four-year degree
  • This is an entry level role, and a new grad is ideal we will consider 2+ years of experience
  • Must be able to work on our clients provided ERP computer programs
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite, specifically Excel
