We are seeking a Senior Leasing Assistant to join our regional office located in Atlanta, Georgia. This person will provide a wide variety of advanced level support to Leasing staff assisting with lease documentation and creation. Also, provide advanced administrative support to ensure smooth daily operations of the leasing department.

What You'll Be Doing:



  • Prepare all lease documents, modifications, proposals, commission agreements, internal deal sheets & tenant/prospect correspondence; serve as an initial leasing point-of-contact for Regency properties by providing leasing information, pricing and marketing materials to prospective tenants and brokers; canvassing and cold calling if requested by the Leasing Agent. Manage the tenant application process, run credit/background checks on applicants.
  • Assist team members with lease-related research, tracking key dates for leasing and developments, Deal Connect, data entry, paying broker commissions, scheduling and ordering HVAV inspections and LODs on available spaces, and other leasing actions; field department calls while providing excellent customer service; create presentations, reports and other marketing material while serving as the liaison to the marketing department.
  • Operate personal computer and utilize a variety of software packages to prepare correspondence, lease exhibits, presentations, reports, spreadsheets, etc., run budget reports (JSI/mod file) for Investments and maintain leasing databases. Organize executive tours including but not limited to: arranging transportation, coordinate marketing material for attendees, PowerPoint and presentation material, schedule drive times, lodging and reservation.
  • Provide other general administrative support to include filing, photocopying, arranging travel, maintaining calendars, completing expense reports, and other administrative tasks; assist with special assignments as necessary.
  • Provide general administrative support to the Market/Investments Officer, Leasing Agent(s).
  • Ability and willingness to assist Leasing Agent with select lease renewals and new deals as needed.
  • Attend local networking events to build relationships with local tenants/brokers
  • Provide back up support for other administrative departments as necessary.


Are You Qualified?



  • Associate degree in business administration or equivalent
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent preferred
  • 3+ years of administrative or marketing experience
  • Prior experience with contract and/or lease documentation
  • Notary public preferred
  • Real Estate license a plus
  • Basic understanding of contract language and real estate leasing operations
  • Solid quantitative skills
  • Intermediate level proficiency with current Microsoft Word software specifically Word, Excel and PowerPoint as well as email and internet research functionality
