Job Summary Job Description Trading Systems Developer, RBC Capital Markets, LLC, New York, NY: Work as a member of a global team to build Technology solutions used across the equity and rates desks. Develop UI and interact with user to create the best user experience. Develop C++ backend to serve the UI and interact with order management systems to route orders to markets. Develop calculations such as PnL, sector risks, ETF risk decomposition, etc. Create data providers to source data from various services (C#, python) to feed the UI. Design, develop, and maintain reusable C# or C++ data loading, extracts and transformations. Work with Traders on daily applications and Implement solutions for their asks. #LI-DNI Full time employment, Monday - Friday, 40 hours per week, $180,000 per year. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or a related field and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate related work experience. Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering or a related field and 3 years of related work experience. Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following: * Extensive Object-Oriented Programming in C# and C++; * Frameworks including WPF; * Database fundamentals, including SQL, indexing, clustering, and performance; * Distributed architectures, including working on client-server models and with computer networks, specifically TCP/IP; and, * DevOps including Jenkins. Employer will accept any suitable combination of education, training, or experience is acceptable. The base salary for this job is $180,000 per year. This salary does not include other elements of total compensation, including a discretionary bonus and benefits such as a 401(k) program with company-matching contributions; health, dental, vision, life and disability insurance; and paid time-off plan.
