We Require
Two years of responsible related administrative and accounts payable experience Associate's degree in a field related to the area of assignment An equivalent combination of post-secondary education and/orjob-related experience may substitute for therequired experience on a year-for-year basis

Job Contributions
Provide high-level administrative and analytical support to Risk Management leadership by leading complex research initiatives and multi-source data analysis related to departmental financial and operational performance. This includes benchmarking against performance measures, strategic plans, and goals of peer public agencies to identify opportunities for improvement. Conducts in-depth research to support the development, recommendation, and writing of Risk Management-specific policies and procedures. Translates analytical findings into actionable insights to inform strategic decision-making. Prepares executive-level reports, presentations, and comprehensive documentation to clearly communicate key findings and recommendations. Review and process payments, purchase orders, and accounting transactions. Conduct procurement and contract research to support informed purchasing decisions and ensure compliance with regulations. Ensure accuracy through audits and verifications, coordinate routing and approvals, and support efficient, compliant fiscal operations. Perform detailed reviews and reconciliations of accounts payable transactions against the general ledger. Investigate discrepancies and ensure alignment with accounting and financial reporting standards. Analyzes financial data, identifies and resolves discrepancies, and compiles detailed spreadsheets. Conducts routine calculations and maintains complete, accurate financial records. Represents the department in county-wide initiatives and stakeholder collaborations. Acts as liaison to ensure alignment with county policies, supports organizational goals, and maintains compliance with regulatory requirements. Manages the department's internal and external communications, including public records requests, official correspondence, and report distribution. Ensures compliance with public records laws and timely, accurate information delivery. Coordinates HR-related functions through electronic systems and serves as the department's payroll liaison, ensuring timely and accurate personnel transactions. Prepares and coordinates Board of Trustees meetings, including agendas, public notices, and logistics. Takes detailed minutes, capturing the complexity of discussions and ensuring accurate records of decisions and actions. Supports leadership in organizing meetings and coordinating logistics to facilitate effective decision-making processes and ensure quorum is met.
