AN OPPORTUNITY TO JOIN THE NPT TEAM
The Seasonal Investment Operations, Associate is responsible for working with the Operation Team. In this role they will confirm wire instruction accuracy to prevent and minimize wire transfer fraud risks within the organization. Additionally, they will collect and process the necessary data and perform required reviewing, recording and analysis of NPT's investments.
Full-time seasonal position: 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, but NPT will request some flexibility during our busy season of November-December. Position to start in August, and the intended completion date is sometime in January 2026. This position offers a pay rate of $22 per hour.
Primary Functions and Essential Responsibilities
Duties and Responsibilities:


  • Review and verify wire transfer requests, ensuring accuracy of recipient information, including name, account number and bank details by confirming with the recipient.
  • Conduct due diligence on recipients to identify potential red flags for fraudulent activity.
  • Assist in the completion of reconciliation of assigned branch investment accounts, including:

    • Data Entry
    • Holdings Reconciliation


  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to resolve reconciliation issues in assigned branch accounts open external investment accounts
  • Assist with the data integrity of Stellar
  • Review trade instructions for assigned account
  • Assist the Investment Operations team with special assignments and projects

Qualifications
Education/Certification:


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business or related field or related experience


Required Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:


  • Highly proficient in the suite of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
  • Exposure to investments and or financial services a plus
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Solid organizational and time-management skills
  • Capable of multi-tasking in a daily, deadline-driven environment, while keeping others well-informed
  • Excellent verbal, writing, and proofreading skills
  • Very detailed oriented
  • Must have an inquisitive, investigative mindset, and be willing and able to "dig deeper" rather than accept information at face value
  • Skilled problem-solver
  • Must possess unquestioned personal integrity and reliability; keep commitments, admit mistakes, accept responsibility for all team output and results, maintain confidentiality when necessary and appropriate, and act in the best interest of the organization at all times
  • Both a team player and capable of independent work
