This position is responsible for employer-group sales, specifically small group (2-50), while collaborating with their aligned Account Executive. The ISR will drive new sales results by educating brokers on Network Health, building and closing on an active pipeline, and collaborating across the team to ensure key sales strategies are being executed upon. Ultimately, the ISR is responsible for delivering additional health plan membership in accordance with enrollment and revenue projections for groups within assigned employer market segment. Location: Candidates must reside in the state of Wisconsin for consideration. This position is eligible to work at your home office (reliable internet is required), at our office in Brookfield or Menasha, or a combination of both in our hybrid workplace model. - Demonstrate commitment and behavior aligned with the philosophy, mission, values and vision of Network Health.
- Appropriately apply all organizational, regulatory, and credentialing principles, procedures, requirements, regulations, and policies.
- Prospects the market place; including agents, brokers, consultants and, where necessary, directly with the employer group, to secure additional health plan membership in accordance with enrollment and revenue projections for groups
- Meets or exceeds the prospecting, quoting and sales targets as established by senior management.
- Provides recommendations to NH senior leadership regarding development and implementation of products and services based on trends in health care including legislation, competition and the political environment.
- Develops and maintains effective business partnerships with the broker, agent and consultant community and employer organizations
- Develops and manages an accurate database of prospects, chambers and agents.
- Collaborates with Client Managers to maintain positive relationships with external stakeholders.
- Ensures current initiatives (e.g., network, pricing or product changes/enhancements) are made available to the broker community.
- Assists in the coordination of administrative tasks necessary to provide the highest level of service to our broker community and potential employer accounts.
- Coordinates new business request for proposal and request for information process.
- Performs other duties and responsibilties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or 8 years of equivalent experience.
- Five years experience specializing in an employee benefit sales or service related position with an insurance carrier or brokerage association.
- Health Maintenance Organization (HMO) marketing experience preferred.
- Current Wisconsin Health Insurance Sales License.
- Understanding of employee benefits.
- Deliver sales messages on the phone, virtually, and through e-mail that engages and educates brokers
- Strong analytical/financial aptitude; ability to evaluate results and choose best solutions.
- Strong customer service focus with willingness to identify and resolve problems.
- Ability to build relationships with multiple influencers and adjust approach based on behavioral style.
