Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be based in our headquarters office located in Tustin, California. The successful candidate will be able to display excellent financial modeling and analytical skills. The successful candidate will translate data into reports and financial models supporting the management team in making informed decisions. The candidate must have the ability to logically think through an issue and create a new or enhance an existing process. The successful candidate is an innovative thinker who can be presented with a small idea or problem and turn it into actionable solution. Responsibilities:

  • Support quarterly forecasting and annual budgeting processes, partnering with cross-functional teams to gather inputs and ensure alignment with strategic goals
  • Build and maintain advanced financial models for forecasting, budgeting, scenario planning, and long-range strategic initiatives
  • Analyze financial results, identify key trends, and perform variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods
  • Prepare and present operational and economic models to inform strategic decisions and business planning
  • Develop and manage dashboards and reporting tools to deliver timely and actionable financial and operational insights
  • Prepare presentation materials and slides for Asset Management as part of broader monthly reporting, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and alignment with key performance indicators and strategic priorities.
  • Provide clear, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership to support decision-making
  • Contribute to business case development, special projects, and ad hoc financial analyses
  • Continuously improve data collection, reporting processes, and analytical workflows for greater efficiency and accuracy
  • Cross-train with other analysts to strengthen team agility and ensure functional coverage

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; MBA, CFA, or advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or corporate finance
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with demonstrated expertise in financial modeling
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience in data analysis and data mining
  • Familiarity with the real estate industry and Yardi or similar ERP systems is a plus
  • Experience with SQL and Power BI is a plus
  • Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
  • Proven ability to collaborate across functions and influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations

Salary Range

Placement within this compensation range will be determined by the candidate's knowledge, experience and skills.
