Candidates for NDT Inspector Level 2 will possess the skills and knowledge to perform all the duties of a trainee and can also independently inspect parts, make evaluations, perform required process tests and document results. Selected candidates as a Level 2 Inspector will be expected to perform evaluations on parts produced using fluorescent penetrant inspection (FPI) techniques or fluorescent magnetic particle inspection (MAG) to determine and detect defects that may compromise the integrity or quality of the part. The Level 2 may direct the work of a Trainee and assist them in moving through the established Level 2 qualification and certification process. Candidates must be self-disciplined and self-motivated individuals with strong accountability (attention to details) skills. Candidates must have the ability and desire to be flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced production environment, be resourceful and innovative along with presenting a strong business ethic and compliance to leadership and company policies, and a good communicator with the ability to represent the company in a positive manner. A Level 2 candidate will be expected to perform a variety of tasks which include but are not limited to: non-inspection functions in preparation for inspections, performing specific calibrations, tests and evaluations on production aerospace parts, develop procedures and establish techniques (i.e. technique cards) for Level 3 approval, and other tasks and training assigned by the Level 3 Inspector for further opportunity in advancing a career in NDT Inspection. As a condition of assignment, Level 2 candidates may be expected to process product controlled under in International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and/or Export Administration Regulations (EAR). As such, these candidates may be required to provide proof of U.S. Citizenship, Legal Permanent Residence or protected status as a Non-Citizen National of the U.S. Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
