Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Mailroom & Data Entry Specialist to join our production-based operations team. This role involves working with specialized equipment to scan, image, and extract mail, as well as performing high-volume data entry. The ideal candidate will be comfortable in a fast-paced environment, adaptable to shifting priorities, and committed to maintaining professionalism throughout their workday.
Key Responsibilities: * Operate the Falcon Red machine to open, scan, and image incoming mail in a continuous workflow. * Extract and process physical mail contents with precision and care. * Perform high-volume data entry, including: * 10-key data entry at a rate of 8,501 keystrokes per hour. * Alpha-numeric data entry at a rate of 8,000 keystrokes per hour. * Ensure accuracy and completeness of all scanned and keyed information. * Adhere to production timelines and remain until daily work is completed (may require staying late). * Take scheduled breaks and lunches as required. * Maintain a professional demeanor and follow all training and operational guidelines. * Participate in cross-training to support various functions within the team. Required Skills & Experience: * Proven experience in data entry with strong 10-key and alpha-numeric typing skills. * Ability to work in a production-based environment with fluctuating workloads. * Strong attention to detail and ability to shift priorities as needed. * Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, Word, Teams). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Preferred (Nice to Have): * Mailroom experience or familiarity with mail extraction and imaging equipment. * Experience working in a professional or corporate environment. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $21.10 - $21.10/hr.
