Revelle College is the first of the Undergraduate Colleges established at the University of California, San Diego and was named in honor of Roger Revelle, noted for his research on global warming and a major force in the founding of UC San Diego. The colleges are distinguishedby their general education curriculum and Revelle College is known for the breadth, depth and rigor of its general education requirements, which include humanities, mathematics, language, science, social science, and writing. Students at Revelle College are actively engagedand involved in a variety of student programs and activities. Revelle College is home to approximately 4600 undergraduate students. The Revelle College Operations and Programs Analyst (OPA) performs a wide range of duties that require confidentiality, discretion, tact, diplomacy, sound judgment, analytical and decision making skills. Duties include, but are not limited to comprehensive, high-level administrative support to the Provost as well as day-to-day operational support of Revelle College. The Operations and Programs Analyst serves as the direct link between Revelle and the Colleges Business Office (CBO). The incumbent also has responsibility for the planning and execution of select College events such as commencement, faculty seminars, symposia and recognition events. Provides project support to assist the Provost in carrying out responsibilities and coordinating and planning academic and other programs/meetings/events that enhance interaction between the Provost, students, parents, alumni, staff, and faculty. Coordinates special projects which may include research, analysis, documentation, logistics, design, correspondence, and preparation of presentation materials. These roles require the Operations and Programs Analyst to demonstrate a high degree of professionalism in a rapidly changing, time-pressured environment using strong organizational skills, with the ability to be flexible as demands and priorities may change rapidly. The Operations and Programs Analyst must manage a high volume of communications and information and must be able to organize, research, track, interpret, analyze and present information in concise and appropriate formats. Responsible for compilation of meeting documents and back-up with attention to detail. Responsible for managing complex calendars with frequent changes. Serves as a key representative of the Provost within UC San Diego as well as with donors, visitors, corporate, and community partners. Serves as on-site safety and facility/key coordinator.
Pay Transparency Act Annual Full Pay Range: $68,382 - $105,695 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%) Hourly Equivalent: $32.75 - $50.62 Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position. The Annual Full Pay Range may be broader than what the University anticipates to pay for this position, based on internal equity, budget, and collective bargaining agreements (when applicable).
