Maxar Space is seeking a Sr. Talent Acquisition Business Partner to join our team part time (20 hours per week), based in Palo Alto CA. In this role, which may also be performed remotely, you will be a key strategic partner to our hiring groups, providing guidance and coaching to hiring managers and sourcing/managing candidates through all stages of the interview and offer process.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage full cycle recruiting, creating innovative sourcing strategies and engagement to attract passive and hard to reach candidates
  • Develop, research and identify prospective talent providing a pipeline of qualified candidates
  • Define, refine, execute and communicate search strategies
  • Act as an expert in assigned regions, line of businesses, functions and technologies
  • Analyze industry, product and geographical trends in talent
  • Determine appropriate recruiting sources for advertising and posting positions
  • Promote the company image to candidates and external service providers
  • Document and evaluate recruiting and candidate interview process
  • Drive offer process - including extending offers, negotiations, closing candidates, and generating offer letters
  • Manages tools, resources and technologies in identifying talent
  • Develop and execute fully comprehensive sourcing plans, analyzing requirements to determine target profile needs and matches
  • Coordinate closely with HR Compensation and other team members to understand and communicate market mapping and competitor analysis
  • Regularly manage pipeline activity and maintain data integrity, and proactively share data-centric updates with internal stakeholders
  • Uphold process requirements which align with OFCCP government contracting rules and guidelines
  • Facilitate and lead meetings and key client stakeholders throughout the recruitment cycle
  • Support LinkedIn Recruiting Platform as needed
  • Create stand-alone resources and platforms such as Glassdoor and other talent acquisition marketing sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
  • Bachelor's degree. An additional four years of experience may be substituted for a degree
  • 8 years of relevant experience, including experience with Workday applicant tracking system

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the salary range provided below and is determined based on job-related factors, including, but not limited to, the experience, qualifications, knowledge, skills, geographic work location, and market conditions. Candidates with the minimum necessary experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skillsets for the position should not expect to receive the upper end of the pay range.

* The base pay for this position within Colorado is: $105,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. * The base pay for this position within New Jersey is: $105,000.00 - $175,000.00 annually. * The base pay for this position within the Washington, DC metropolitan area is: $116,000.00 - $192,000.00 annually. * The base pay for this position within California is: $121,000.00 - $201,000.00 annually.

For all other states, we use geographic cost of labor as an input to develop market-driven ranges for our roles, and as such, each location where we hire may have a different range.

Additionally, this position is incentive eligible with a target based on contribution, company performance, and/or individual results achieved; the specific incentive plan and target amount will be determined based on the role and breadth of contributions.
