Role Description & Responsibilities

SIMULIA is looking to hire a Release Operations Engineer. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to perform build and release operations, develop, enhance, and fix process and tools, provide internal support, and investigate and resolve challenging problems.

* Monitor and perform build and release operation responsibilities

* Develop process and tools to maximize release operations and R&D effectiveness and efficiency

* Identify, design, implement enhancements to operation and documentation process and tools

* Investigate and resolve time sensitive and challenging problems

Qualifications

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Information Systems, or related field and 3-5 years of experience

* Experience with Linux and Windows

* Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, Java script, shell scripting

* Experience with XML including parsing and generating

* Experience with Oxygen, DITA, MathML, PDF and DITA rendering, CSS, Node

* Experience with structured programming languages such as C, C++, Java, Golang

* Experience with software engineering and software design methodologies

* Strong problem solving and debugging skills

* Ability to work in a fast pace environment, multitask, and deliver under pressure

* Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions

* Detail-oriented with ability to adjust in a dynamic environment

* Comfortable with working across geographic-regions and cultures

Plus

* Database and SQL experience

* Experience with cyber security methodologies & tools

* Network-based application development
