Salesforce's Quote to Cash (QTC) Strategy & Solutions team is seeking a motivated Sr. Business Analyst. Join our team and contribute to impactful projects that improve and scale our internal Quote-To-Cash operations. As part of the Global Business Strategy and Operations organization, you'll play a key role in analyzing and documenting processes, gathering requirements, and supporting project execution. Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Functional Leads and Analysts to understand QTC process and feature goals, and drive the delivery of incremental improvements. Drive UAT through identification and development of test scenarios and scripts, and complete end-to-end testing and user acceptance testing as needed. Coordinate end to end UAT cycle across Business Stakeholders, SMEs and Project Team. Work effectively across business and technical/development teams, helping them understand the specifications/requirements for technical development, testing, and implementation. Ensure end-to-end continuity and traceability of Use Cases and Requirements through Build, Testing and Activation phases. Support the development of solutions by working with Technical Architects and Product Managers to understand and translate business requirements. Collaborate with Engineering during build phases to ensure Acceptance Criteria are met and that features align to agreed upon solutions. Assist with project management activities, including tracking requirements, communicating dependencies, and providing status updates. Develop a deep understanding of Salesforce internal QTC systems and processes. Contribute to the documentation and maintenance of business rules and process flows. Update current state and produce future state process documentation & artifacts. Participate in cross-functional meetings, document key decisions, and follow up on action items. Support the creation of training materials for change management initiatives. Develop organizational change management framework; communication, training, and post implementation support. Assist with ad-hoc reporting and research activities as needed. Lead the business requirements gathering and documentation process, working with Business Analysts and subject matter experts to analyze and document existing and future processes. Analyze and document technical requirements. Plan, facilitate, and engage with business users at different levels to understand business needs. Document functional and technical requirements of assigned business domain, as well as other standard Salesforce configurations. Conduct data analysis using Salesforce reports & Tableau to support business decisions within quoting and renewals. Drive the requirements gathering process that accurately reflects business needs which includes: risk analysis, as is and to be process documentation, agnostic of a specific technical solution. Review technical solutions for compliance to business process and objectives. Write business level (feature group/functional success metrics) acceptance criteria.
Required Skills/Experience:
3+ years of hands-on experience as a business system analyst, specifically in the areas of enterprise systems, Quote to Cash end to end, quoting or renewals and an understanding of Revenue Lifecycle Management. Familiarity with Quote to Cash (Configure Price Quote, Contract Lifecycle, Order Management) processes and systems is a plus. Experience with User Acceptance Testing, from planning through execution Experience with business requirements gathering and documentation. Ability to connect business requirements to functional application capabilities quickly and assess the appropriate relevance of incorporating different product technologies to business problems; ability to learn new applications and technologies. Experience with process flow mapping and building out future state process flows. Experience working with both business and technical teams, coordinating solution design, development/configuration, and deployment across multi-dimensional teams. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written. Excellent spoken and written communication skills, as well as receptive listening skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently. A curious mindset and willingness to learn from subject matter experts. Analytical approach and data-driven competencies are a must, with the ability to dig under the hood and leverage usage and adoption data points to drive value and change. Proven ability to coordinate a diverse set of business users to develop cohesive and streamlined requirements, documentation, and user acceptance criteria. Excellent teammate able to work within a global operating model, including virtual and distributed cross-functional teams, with the flexibility to work across different time zones. Experience will be evaluated based on alignment to the core competencies for the role (e.g. extracurricular leadership roles, military experience, volunteer work, etc.).
Preferred Skills/Experience:
Familiarity with process documentation tools. Experience with Lucidchart a plus. Familiarity with project management tools. Exposure to Salesforce products. Salesforce Administrator Certification a plus. Exposure to enterprise-level projects. Prior experience with Business Operations, Revenue Operations or Quote to Cash Operations.
