POSITION:

Sampling Textile Operator I l l

Hours: 9:00 a.m. -6:00 p.m.

DEPARTMENT:

Spinneybeck

LOCATION:

Getzville, New York

DESCRIPTION:

Pull stock from warehouse inventory to fulfill sample orders.

Operating sampling equipment, cutting machines.

Cut and process tile, belting and magnetic leather orders, including boxing, preparing orders for shipping and filling out the correct paper work.

Cut floor tiles for sample requests, allocating material as necessary.

Maintain inventory of tile croupons, including keeping accurate records on boxes using inventory cards.

Inventory tile shipping boxes, styrofoam, padding and all materials related to tiles on a monthly basis.

Inventory and cut leather tile hexagons and 3x3's for sample stock and belting leather samples.

Cut leather for special projects/new leather intro.

Maintain inventory of leather pull samples and cut leather pull orders.

BACKGROUND:

Experience in warehouse order fulfillment helpful.

EDUCATION:

High school diploma required.

REQUIREMENTS:

Color recognition skills necessary.

Ability to work light industrial equipment/machinery.

No physical restrictions to performing work requirements: standing, bending, squatting, lifting and sitting.

Organizational skills necessary.

Available during the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m.

A starting compensation range for this role is $15.35 - $20.19. Relevant salary considerations will include candidate qualifications and experience, other business/organizational needs and market factors . You may also be eligible to receive a geographic premium, annual discretionary incentive and equity awards which are subject to the rules governing these programs.
