In the Vice President, DSMI position, you'll set the strategic direction for Direct Supply's global manufacturing and supply chain operations. Drawing on deep expertise in manufacturing, product quality, and sourcing, you'll lead efforts to scale efficiently, reduce costs, and strengthen operational execution. You'll also serve as a growth catalyst-expanding market reach, unlocking new revenue streams, and advancing our private label strategy to drive top- and bottom-line results.

What You'll Do and Impact:
Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize manufacturing processes, reduce costs, and increase efficiency while maintaining high standards of product quality and safety. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and sales, to ensure alignment of manufacturing activities with company objectives and customer requirements. Develop new products that can be sold into the healthcare market. Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to assess manufacturing performance, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed. Ensure compliance with regulations, standards, and policies while maintaining high safety, quality, and sustainability standards. Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers and contract manufacturers to ensure reliable and cost-effective supply of materials and components. Drive workforce development and employee engagement initiatives to build a high-performing and motivated manufacturing team. Lead strategic initiatives that support business growth, including capacity increases, new product introductions, and geographic expansion. Represent the company's manufacturing capabilities and interests in negotiations with customers, suppliers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; Master's degree or MBA preferred 15+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing operations, including 5+ years in a senior leadership role overseeing global manufacturing, sourcing, or operational strategy 5+ years of experience in private label manufacturing Must be creative with a strong entrepreneurial background Experience with virtual distribution and manufacturing is a strong plus Experience applying Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies to drive efficiency and standardization in manufacturing operations Demonstrated success building strong internal and external relationships and influencing outcomes through strategic communication and negotiation Proven commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in leadership practices, with experience cultivating inclusive teams and equitable manufacturing strategies
