Location/Region: This position is located in Maple Grove, MN or Wixom, MI with a hybrid schedule and ability to travel up to 60% domestically. What's the role? Academic Program Lead - North American Education Market The Academic Program Lead is responsible for actively cultivating the educational market in North America. This role emphasizes driving system and software sales and revenue through strategic partnerships with key academic institutions across the U.S. and Canada. The Lead communicates with educational organizations throughout North America to promote ZEISS IQS solutions as the preferred tools for manufacturing programs at all academic levels. Engagement occurs through direct marketing, conferences, and trade/skill shows such as HTEC, ASPE, and IMTS. They undertake strategic sales "road trips" to targeted regions where machining and manufacturing programs are emerging, established, or expanding. This position provides expert knowledge of ZEISS solutions, particularly CALYPSO operation, functions, and programming, ensuring seamless integration into educational curricula. Additionally, the Lead is responsible for conducting pre- and post-sale visits to ensure the right products are selected and that institutions receive the necessary training for effective integration into their programs. Working Environment:
The annual pay range for this position is $85,000 - $95,000 The pay offered for this role may be influenced by factors such as job location, scope of role, qualifications, education, experience, & complexity/specialization/scarcity of talent.
