    Qualifications:
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Prior experience working with children in an educational setting preferred but not required
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in a team environment
    • Flexibility and adaptability to changing situations and schedules
    • Ability to follow directions and work independently
    • Ability to pass a background check and drug test, as required by state and local regulations.
    Pay Rate/Range:
    General Ed EA: $19.79/hr.
    Special Ed EA: $21.86/hr.

    Compensation/Benefits: An employee earns one hour of sick and safe time for every 30 hours worked and can earn a maximum of 48 hours each year.

    Deadline: 6/30/2026 -- (7/14/2025) EOE Employment is contingent upon completion of a background check.

    Job Summary:
    We are seeking Substitute Educational Assistants to work on an as-needed basis within our educational facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing support to teachers and students, ensuring a safe and positive learning environment, and assisting with various classroom tasks.

    Responsibilities:
    • Provide support to teachers in the classroom, including helping with lesson preparation, grading, and classroom management
    • Assist students with classroom assignments and activities, including reading, writing, and math
    • Monitor student behavior and ensure a safe and positive learning environment
    • Help with classroom organization and maintenance, including cleaning and organizing materials and supplies
    • Assist with special education programs and support students with disabilities
    • Communicate with teachers and staff regarding student progress and any concerns or issues that arise
