DESCRIPTION OF WORK

In this position, you will take on the responsibilities of the Maintenance RAR Recovery Coordinator and serve as the primary GIS operator for District 6. Your role will involve the operation and maintenance of Geographic Information Systems (GIS), ensuring that these systems function effectively to support district operations. A key aspect of your duties will be to oversee the timely invoicing process related to accident damages, which is crucial for maximizing reimbursement to the Commonwealth. Additionally, you will provide essential support to all personnel within the District and County, facilitating collaboration and ensuring that GIS resources are utilized efficiently across various teams. Your expertise will be vital in enhancing operational efficiency and financial recovery efforts within the district.

Work Schedule and Additional Information:
- Full-time employment.
- Work hours are 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
- Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time up to 2 days per week. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in King of Prussia.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
- One year of experience as a Roadway Programs Technician 2 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or
- Two years of experience in the analysis, development and implementation of methods and techniques in a roadway maintenance management system and an Associate's Degree in the field of Business Administration, Computer Science, Highway Engineering Technology or closely related program; or
- A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or in a civil engineering related discipline; or
- Any equivalent combination of experience and training.
- Applicants will be considered to have met the educational requirements once they are within 3 months of graduating with a qualifying degree.
