Description
Manhattan Strategy Group seeks an experienced Negotiated Rulemaking Facilitator/Mediator
for an upcoming opportunity to support the Department of Education focused on Title IV. Facilitators/mediators will facilitate Title IV student aid policy development, including the development of regulations, which, in most cases, must be developed through a negotiated rulemaking process as provided for by section 492 of the Higher Education Act of 1965, as amended (the HEA).
Facilitation will include:
This individual will facilitate negotiated rulemaking sessions related to the Department of Education's Title IV Program. Activities will include:
Knowledge of and experience in the Federal Negotiated Rulemaking Process, including knowledge of the 20 U.S. Code * 1098a - Regional meetings and negotiated rulemaking.
Knowledge of Higher Education laws and policies, specifically the laws and policies applicable to the Federal Student Aid programs.
