Okta is seeking a Senior Manager, Technology Partnerships-Customer Identity, to join our rapidly growing Business Development team. This role will focus on developing and managing strategic technology partnerships that extend Okta's Customer Identity capabilities. You'll work cross-functionally across product, marketing, sales, and alliances to identify key partners, build joint solutions, and drive market adoption. This pivotal role will focus on building and nurturing a network of technology partners that enhance and extend the capabilities of the Okta Customer Identity Cloud.

The ideal candidate will be a strategic and experienced leader with a deep understanding of the customer identity and access management landscape. They will be responsible for identifying, recruiting, and managing technology partners to create joint solutions that drive customer value, accelerate market adoption, and generate new revenue streams.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and executeOkta's technology partnership strategy for the Customer Identity (CIAM) market,aligning with product roadmap and go-to-market priorities.
  • Identify, recruit, and onboardnew technology partners that offer complementary solutions in areas such as fraud detection, identity verification, customer data platforms (CDPs), marketing automation, and more.
  • Manage and nurture relationships with existing partners,driving joint go-to-market activities, including co-marketing, co-selling, and joint solution development.
  • Build product integration roadmapsin collaboration with Okta product and engineering teams
  • Collaborate with go-to-market teamsto create joint value propositions, sales enablement materials, and co-marketing plans
  • Drive joint solution adoptionby tracking partner success metrics, supporting field sales, and ensuring mutual business value
  • Represent Okta externallyat partner events, executive meetings, and industry conferences


Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience intechnology partnerships, business development, or product management, with at least 3+ years focused onCustomer Identity or CIAM
  • Deep understanding of theCustomer Identity market, including user authentication, registration, consent management, and privacy
  • Strong technical acumen - ability to discuss APIs, SDKs, and product integrations with confidence
  • Experience working cross-functionally with product, engineering, sales, and marketing teams
  • Proven track record of launching successful partnerships and joint solutions
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
  • BA/BS degree required; MBA or technical degree a plus

The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in the San Francisco Bay area is between:
$193,000 $289,000 USD

Below is the annual base salary range for candidates located in California, Colorado, New York and Washington. Your actual base salary will depend on factors such as your skills, qualifications, experience, and work location. In addition, Okta offers equity (where applicable), bonus, and benefits, including health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), flexible spending account, and paid leave (including PTO and parental leave) in accordance with our applicable plans and policies. The annual base salary range for this position for candidates located in California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, New York, and Washington is between:
$155,000 $258,000 USD
