Temporary part-time hourly on-call Supply Chain Associate

Position Summary

Part-time temporary on-call position to fill in at the Biochemistry Stores sales window during staffing shortages.

Job duties:

- Primary customer service representative for the Biochemistry Stores Service Window, including direct customer interactions, scientific supply expertise, knowledge of Biochemisry Stores catalog items, issuance and returns of stock, and cash equivalent handling.

- Hazardous materials handling, materials include a variety of acidic, caustic, flammable, explosive, and reactive chemicals that must be stored, transported, and issued safely.

- Assist in the training of new student and professional staff within the scopes of product expertise and account management.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

Requires the academic knowledge of a scientific discipline plus the ability to translate, adapt, and apply the knowledge that is generally associated with a Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and progressively responsible experience.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

1. Must have prior, recent PeopleSoft experience at Biochemistry Stores.
