• Build and maintain accurate client medical records
• Access client electronic personal health information from server, print and file in client medical records chart
• Respond to requests for medical records from internal and external sources according to Pate policy, HIPAA, and state law, including preparation and submission of invoices for copying of records
• Maintain security and privacy of medical records storage areas
• Monitor and document the client/family follow-up system
• Maintain and destroy medical records according to retention schedule and Pate policy
• Maintain a working knowledge of HIPAA and other laws regarding confidentiality, including Pate policy
• Perform other duties as assigned
