Responsibilities

  1. Provides scheduling for living community nursing departments utilizing the scheduling software to efficiently schedule nursing departments.
  2. Assists with making corrections/adjustments to time clock at direction of individual TEAMembers.
  3. Collaborates with department leaders and Talent and Culture recruitment team to maximize efficiency in meeting scheduling needs for living community nursing departments.
  4. Creates, approves and maintains schedules and on call calendars in scheduling software for living community nursing departments.
  5. Communicates schedule openings and assignment of shifts to TEAMembers using the scheduling software.
  6. Educates TEAMembers and leaders to use the scheduling software features to maximize self-scheduling and system use.
  7. Greets, directs, and provides information to residents/tenants, staff, families, and visitors.
  8. Assists with resident transfers and admissions documentation.
  9. Monitors and schedules external medical relations including appointments, lab work, pharmacy orders, and x-rays while ensuring proper transportation to and from appointments.
  10. Maintains an adequate inventory of clerical and office supplies on unit.


Qualifications

COMMUNICATION: Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the English language as well as terminology and jargon specific to the job.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Ability to gain access to the work area and then safely perform the duties of the job while utilizing standard and specialized equipment. Vision and hearing within normal limits (with or without correction). Must have unrestricted lift/push/pull ability of 25 - pounds, demonstrating strength and agility at Tabitha's discretion.
AGE REQUIREMENT: At least age 18.

EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent required. Associate degree preferred.
EXPERIENCE: One year health care staffing experience preferred. Clinical background preferred.
