This job is responsible for developing and delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key responsibilities of the job include ensuring that software is developed to meet functional, non-functional and compliance requirements, coding solutions, unit testing, and ensuring the solution can be integrated successfully into the overall application/system with clear, robust, and well-tested interfaces. Job expectations include an awareness of development and testing practices in the industry. Responsibilities:
Codes solutions and unit test to deliver a requirement/story per the defined acceptance criteria and compliance requirements Utilizes multiple architectural components (across data, application, business) in design and development of client requirements Performs Continuous Integration and Continuous Development (CI-CD) activities Contributes to story refinement and definition of requirements Participates in estimating work necessary to realize a story/requirement through the delivery lifecycle Contributes to existing test suites (integration, regression, performance), analyze test reports, identify any test issues/errors, and triage the underlying cause Performs spike/proof of concept as necessary to mitigate risk or implement new ideas
Required Qualifications:
Experience (8+ years) in software engineering, including advanced expertise in Java, Angular and related technologies. Strong proficiency in Java programming with a deep understanding of core Java concepts and development best practices. Strong understanding and hands-on experience with developing, deploying and maintaining applications using Spring Boot and Spring Framework. Experience in Application and Web servers like JBoss, Apache, Tomcat etc. Experience in both front-end and back-end development including working with frameworks, webservers and building end to end solutions. Solid experience working in containerized environments. Proven experience in designing , developing and maintaining microservices based applications including working with RESTful APIs. Good understanding of distributed technologies and frameworks. Excellent understanding of relational databases like Oracle. Proficiency with version control systems like Git, Bitbucket and hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment Must have a minimum Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent work experience.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience working in financial services or a similarly regulated industry is a plus. Strong Software Development in the large Banks Experience with AI technologies like Chatbot development etc. Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes. Experience with cloud technologies, particularly AWS or Azure is a plus. Demonstrated leadership ability, including mentoring and developing talent within a technical team.
