Human Resources Generalist

Staffmark is seeking a motivated Human Resources Generalist to support day-to-day HR functions for a fast-paced logistics facility. This role plays a critical part in aligning HR strategies with business goals, improving employee engagement, and enhancing overall organizational performance. Pay: $30/hour

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM - 5:30 PM

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular check-ins with assigned departments to identify needs and provide HR support
• Assist in delivering training and guidance to managers on HR policies and procedures
• Support employee relations efforts, including investigations and documentation
• Monitor HR compliance with federal and state regulations
• Guide performance management practices such as coaching, counseling, and career development
• Collaborate with leadership to enhance employee engagement and workplace culture
• Maintain accurate employee records and assist with employment documentation
• Help assess workforce planning and training needs
• Evaluate training programs and provide feedback to improve effectiveness
• Other duties as assigned by the senior HR team

What We're Looking For:

• 2-5 years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, logistics, or manufacturing environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
• SHRM-CP certification or willingness to obtain within 1 year is a plus
• Knowledge of HR disciplines (employee relations, compliance, performance management)
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace
• Familiarity with Workday HRIS (or willingness to learn within 30 days)
• Comfortable working in a non-temperature-controlled warehouse as needed
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds and sit for extended periods
