Location: Mizzou Pharmacy-multiple locations Hours: Varies depending on availability, but may fall between 7am-7pm M-F and 8am-5pm Sat and Sun.HH * Base Pay Range: o 1st year - $20/hour o 2nd year - $22/hour o 3rd year - $24/hour o 4th year - $26/hour * Shift Differentials: o Additional $1.25 per hour for Evening shift o Additional $1.50 per hour for Weekend shift ABOUT THE JOB Join our dynamic Mizzou Pharmacy team as a pharmacy intern, where your expertise will make a meaningful impact on the health and well-being of our community! DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Under the direct supervision of a pharmacist, pharmacy interns can: - Process prescriptions: Input new orders, manage refills/transfers, verify insurance - Prepare medications: Count, package, and organize prescriptions for pharmacist verification - Assist patients: Collect information, provide basic medication guidance under supervision - Support operations: Maintain pharmacy organization, assist with inventory management - Handle administrative tasks: Answer phones, manage records, schedule appointments - Develop professionally: Participate in training, build medication knowledge - Utilize pharmacy technology: Operate dispensing software and equipment Perform other job-related duties as assigned by the pharmacist or Pharmacy Manager. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Must either be registered as a pharmacy technician or licensed as a pharmacy intern Previous pharmacy experience preferred PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met with or without reasonable accommodation.
