ABOUT THE JOB Provide students the opportunity to apply undergraduate study principles in the practical work setting of an academic medical center in preparation and pursuit of their career interests. Undergraduate interns will contribute to projects in assigned department or area that support MU Health Care's strategic mission. This job description is intended for use with the undergraduate intern positions within the Career Institute at MU Health Care. Learn more about living in mid-Missouri. DETAILED JOB DESCRIPTION Gain practical work experience in department or area related to undergraduate program area of study. Demonstrate inclusive leadership skills and Culture of Yes behaviors while working with others to accomplish MU Health Care's strategic goals. Support work in administrative areas focusing on evaluation and improvement of processes. Analyze data and make meaningful analysis to provide recommendations to leadership. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional competencies. May complete unit/department specific duties as outlined in department documents. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS Current enrollment in an undergraduate level education program. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Additional license/certification requirements as determined by the hiring department.
