Nestle in Springville, UT manufactures Stouffer's Frozen Meals. We are currently hiring for Associate Receiver/Production Supply positions. Openings are available on 2nd shift. Shifts are 10 hrs rotating schedules. Job Description: Receives all non-bulk materials/ingredients into Warehouse and supplies ingredients to production line. Primary Responsibilities: * Unloads all trucks as they arrive, ensuring that all items are properly palletized. * Ships out loads as required. * Locates all incoming goods in their designated areas. * Works with Incoming Goods Lab to facilitate sampling of incoming goods * Uses the SAP system to facilitate job functions and has a thorough understanding of transactions required for accurate inventory control * Works with clerical staff to ensure accurate recording on bills. * Maintains an accurate inventory by scanning all pallets and moving all pallets in the computer as well as physically in the warehouse. * Ensures released product is issued to production unless a deviation is issued. * Ensures oldest day code pallets are issued first unless a deviation is issued (FEFO). * Checks for deviations and adheres to them for the production date specified * Returns unused raw goods to the warehouse. * Returns empty scholle/diced tomato bins to the warehouse. Breaks down scholle parts and prepares for return to vendor * Performs daily and weekly housekeeping duties, which may include the use of chemicals. * Performs relocations in the warehouse as needed. * Ensures that the production floor is not congested with warehouse materials. Removes pallets from the floor in a timely manner. * Models the Springville Compass in all work-related activities. * Performs all other duties as assigned by supervisor. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION * Understand verbal and written instructions in English. * Must follow safety rules and procedures including the wearing of safety shoes, hearing protection, hard hats, and safety glasses where appropriate * Must observe Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and USDA/QA policies. * Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs * Must be able to assist lift up to lift 100 lbs. for up 2-3 hours per shift. * Must be able to withstand cold temperatures for long periods of time. * Must be able to add, subtract, and multiply. * Must have legible handwriting. * Must be capable of safely operating forklift equipment and obtain license. * Must be able to work OT as needed. * Detect and understand warning lights, buzzers, alarms, or instruments indicating hazardous conditions or circumstances that may cause equipment or product loss and physical harm. * Must work every scheduled day and arrive at workstation at or before scheduled start time. * Communicate effectively with various support groups, supervisors, and team members. * Must be able to transport oneself to, from, and around one's designated work area on concrete surfaces which are often uneven, wet, and slippery. * Must possess ability to understand verbal and written safety and chemical handling instructions. * 90 days of food manufacturing experience working in a Nestle factory preferred
