What You Will Do:
Designers, Highway for GFT Infrastructure, Inc for our Dallas, TX regional office. May telecommute up to 2 days/week. Perform under supervision technical evaluation + design for variety of assignments to include: roadway geometric design; drainage; storm water management; erosion + sedimentation control; signing; pavement marking; roadside design; and quantity estimating. Prep plans + details w/ limited complexity in support of broader engineering activities involving design of roadway, drainage + site development projects. Gather + record information for cost estimation. Prep basic specifications. Review shop drawing to evaluate compliance w/ contract docs. Prep first draft of tech reports or sections of larger reports. Utilize CADD to develop 3D models + construction plans. Work w/ Roadway design group to complete projects. Minimal interface w/ clients, data collection + attendance at meetings. Little local travel w/in Texas may be involved to visit client locations and project sites. May undergo background checks incl MV check and drug screening. Education | Experience:Must have Bachelors in Civil Engineering, Civil Engineering Technology, or related field and 2 years relevant civil engineering experience. Also requires the following skills (1 yr exp) in: Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook); and one of the following CAD programs: AutoCAD, MicroStation, Civil 3D or Open Roads. Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $70,900 - $102,200. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
