  • Estimated annual base pay: $65,600.00(minimum) - $82,000.00(midpoint) - $98,400.00(maximum)

Are you ready to make your mark? If you're a Demand Manager, we have an exciting opportunity for you. The Demand Manager reports to the Logistics/Materials Manager. Analyst of the sales forecast; all demands streams, for both product and services, to support the local or regional customer base and designated markets. The forecast is an estimate of future demands; Demand Management is the process to communicate the forecast to Supply to determine resources and material required for profitable business results. The Demand Manager monitors and analyzes data as required to support the processes of forecast, BTO, order entry, order promising, interplant and service parts requirements. Also is responsible for communicating the forecast requirements to the Supply organization as an input to develop the production plan necessary to meet the Demand Forecast.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Provides necessary reports for local or regional Demand Review Meeting: Reports showing Actual to Sales Plan, Profit Plan, and Forecast; aggregate forecasts from item number, to value stream and/or manufacturing family; bookings analysis and SAP IBP metrics.
  • Provides necessary data for local or regional reports: Analyze variances of forecast from prior month (financial & quantity); analyze major adjustments (financial & quantity increases/decreases); reconcile differences with Sales team
  • Provides necessary reports for local or regional Supply Review Meeting: Supply Difference Report (change in quantity month/month); reconcile differences in forecast vs. actual orders
  • Daily/Weekly actions required to manage, develop and maintain the forecast assumptions in anticipation of demand on a monthly basis for the Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning (SIOP) process: Distribute month end customer shipment/bookings report; Maintain sales plans in total and by market segment and the performance to these plans; Communicate detail by item / product code to the Master Schedulers; coordinate interplant demands with Demand Managers at other Woodward locations.
  • Support demand planning standard work and utilize demand metrics to improve future demand forecasts

What We Are Looking For

  • US - bachelor's degree
  • Demonstrated experience in sales, planning and/or manufacturing organization
  • Ability to work effectively across various functional areas
  • Must be proficient in database management and programming such as SAP IBP and Excel spreadsheets.
  • Understand forecasting concepts by using a computerized projection of past demand and assist management in creating a forecast that combines the statistical analysis of demand history with Management's anticipation of changes and new demand factors.
  • Must have a working knowledge of SAP IBP
  • Ability to prepare for and facilitate SIOP meetings
