Step into a unique piece of Milwaukee history at the Brewhouse Inn & Suites-once home to the iconic Pabst Brewery, now a 90-room boutique hotel featuring modern amenities and the On Tap bar and restaurant. We're seeking a dynamic Director of Sales to lead and grow our sales efforts, working closely with the General Manager to drive revenue and occupancy in a truly one-of-a-kind setting.
What You'll Do
- Lead all hotel sales initiatives, with a hands-on approach to market segmentation, strategy execution, and team management.
- Identify business opportunities in corporate, SMERF, group, and extended stay segments, and support sales managers in achieving performance goals.
- Represent the hotel in the community and conduct impactful client site tours and presentations.
- Develop and manage strategic sales plans, budgets, forecasts, and reports aligned with revenue targets.
- Maintain a deep understanding of market trends, competitive positioning, and pricing strategies.
- Partner with hotel departments to ensure seamless execution of meetings and events.
What You Bring
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of hotel sales experience, preferably at a boutique or upscale property.
- Knowledge of revenue management principles, STR reports, and hospitality sales software.
- Ability to work occasional evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- A proactive, guest-focused, and team-driven mindset with strong leadership skills.
