What does a VAF Operations Manager do at Swire Coca-Cola?
Lead the day-to-day operational activities for the VAF warehouse facility and provide the highest quality service to our internal and external customers as efficiently and economically as possible; ensuring that each functional department adheres to all Safety standards. Responsible for leading and driving all department operational activities, ensuring consistent levels of production excellence are achieved and sustained, while developing a fully engaged and talented workforce.



Responsibilities:




  • Follows all Federal/State laws and regulations pertaining to warehouse operations. Accountable to ensure the facility is maintained in a safe, clean, and secure condition and audit ready at all times.
  • Accountable to VAF Warehouse Manager for achieving the facility operatives as top operations leader. Supports the VAF Warehouse Manager by reducing the span of control and assuming accountability of facility day to day operations. Ensures alignment and collaboration with automation processes and automation equipment.
  • In participation with the VAF Manager, develop and execute 1yr and 3yr business plans supporting business objectives including the development and implementation of warehouse strategies, processes, and programs.
  • Establish and monitor the efficiency and performance of key business indicators for inventory, productivity and 100% accuracy on customer orders.
  • Motivate, direct, coach and develop a diverse, high performing leadership team to meet established goals and build organizational capability.
  • Accountable for recruiting, interviewing, and selection of high-quality candidates to ensure that functional teams are adequately staffed and appropriately trained.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.


Requirements:




  • Bachelor's Degree preferred and
  • High School Diploma (or GED) required
  • 4-6 years progressive experience in fast moving consumer goods frontline leadership required
  • Facilities and operations management in a warehouse setting
  • Safety requirements knowledge
  • Understanding of OSHA requirements for Safety
  • Knowledge of international food safety requirements for product handling
  • Knowledge of regulatory requirements for maintenance of facilities
  • Strong leadership skills, building high performing teams, compassion and respect among peers and subordinates; excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Base pay range is $101,921 to $122,402 plus bonus structure (dependent on role). Pay offered will depend on candidate's geographic location, prior relevant experience, knowledge, skills, & abilities.
