Tessera is seeking a detailed and hardworking Production Control Clerk with a positive attitude. Typical duties include but are not limited to:
Collect and track all data for accurate and efficient shop operations. Verify all data entries through checks and balances. Maintain accurate work records and contact customers for service appointments. Provide facilities and equipment repair status via phone, Email, and/or in-person/counter requests. Answer all incoming telephone calls on the service order desk console, providing excellent and courteous customer service skills in a professional manner. Perform all functions necessary to maintain accurate records of facility and equipment maintenance requirements and ensure correct and complete reporting within Work Control software to include, but not limited to, MAXIMO, GFIBS, and ARMA. Process service orders via telephone, in person, in writing, email, internet, or from other automated sources. Determine the validity, assign priority, decide designated codes, and input the service order into the automated MAXIMO system. Enter new work orders, post labor, post material, and close work orders - reflect status in the Maximo, GFIBS, and ARMA systems. Verify and monitor production reports for accuracy. Provide Shop Supervisors and Foremen with accurate data as required. Verify all PM reports prior to closeout. Research, initiate, draft, and complete pre-printed service packets for all facilities & equipment serviced. May collect meter readings (electric, water, and natural gas) and record volume used by commercial and government consumers. May be required to perform compound gate opening and closures. May be required to work alternating shifts. Maintain all documents for Fleet Vehicles.
Qualifications:
Three (3) years of data processing experience preferred. Must have experience with a work management system. Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Physical Requirements: Employees must have the ability to perform the following physical demands for extended periods of time with or without assistance. Must be able to lift and/or move up to 40 pounds. May be required to reach, kneel, walk, stand, and use repetitive motion for several hours at a time based on position duties. Work may require repetitive motion, reaching, lifting, kneeling, and walking. Standing or sitting for several hours at a time, climbing in and out of a vehicle, and up and down stairs may also be required. Must have the perseverance to work effectively under pressure for extended periods of time.
Requirements:
A valid state driver's license is required with the ability to obtain and maintain coverage by Tessera's insurance. Access to a federal military installation requires a REAL ID-compliant driver's license or an acceptable alternative, such as a U.S. passport or military ID, in accordance with the REAL ID Act.
