Senior Linear Account Manager
Territory: SF Bay Area, Southern California, Nevada, Arizona
Looking for a candidate located in Northern/Southern California
Semicon industry, OEM, and ASP/Distribution selling experience is required.

NSK's high-precision rolling bearings are used in wind turbines and machine tools, linear components are found in production lines, while automotive components are installed in the vehicles of almost every well-known automaker.

The Senior Linear Account Manager Role

This position defines opportunities and manages new business development for a defined markets and products with geographical boundaries. Assumes a high level of responsibility for the success of NSK in meeting sales and profitability for the industry within the boundaries. This position will work closely with distributors, equipment designers, maintenance personnel, equipment operators and various other buying influencers to create demand for NSK brand products and services. Looking for a candidate located in Northern/Southern California.

Territory: SF Bay Area, Southern California, Nevada, Arizona

Responsibilities



  • Supports the success of an assigned team of salespeople, including account managers, and business development sales representatives.
  • Meets assigned targets for profitable sales growth in assigned product lines.
  • Provides coaching and professional development to team-member sales associates in order to enhance their product knowledge and sales skills.
  • Leads demand-generating marketing activities in the assigned market for the assigned product specialty.
  • Establishes productive, professional relationships with key personnel in assigned customer accounts.
  • Coordinates the customer involvement of other company personnel when needed, including support resources, team members, and management.
  • Responsible for the promotion, support and sale of NSK linear products to the geographical territory through all ABU distribution channels as well as direct accounts as assigned. Develops new sales opportunities and new customers for NSK. Forecasts customer needs and relays customer requirements to appropriate NSK support personnel. Reports to NSK on commercial, economic and competitive issues affecting the business. This position supports and implements company goals, objectives and special assignments as requested. Provides advanced technical support and training to customers, distributors, end-users, and occasional other NSK personnel. Supports the Regional sales teams as it relates to customer visits and technical support in the field. Assists other NSK departments with various assigned projects related to linear products, customers and markets.


Qualifications



  • This job requires a minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in a related technical field and 8 to 10 years of position-related experience, preferably over 10 years of position-related experience.
  • Semicon industry, OEM, and ASP/Distribution selling experience is required.
  • Mechanical/Electrical Engineering background preferred.


The salary range for this position is $120,000-$160,000.
