JOB SUMMARY The Content Producer/Intranet Specialist is a creative writer that supports Louisville Water's communication efforts through storytelling and website management. The Specialist manages Louisville Water's intranet site by planning, creating, and updating digital content, while also supporting the Company's external website (LouisvilleWater.com). This position collaborates with other team members for brand journalism and content marketing across Louisville Water to improve internal communications. ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS Manage Louisville Water's intranet; develop and maintain engaging and accurate digital content, producing informative and creative stories ensuring the content is timely and relevant; manage user access and permissions. Oversee all intranet content, manage requests, and notify content administrators of upcoming document expirations to maintain accuracy. Maintain intranet functionality by performing routine link checks and resolving issues. Monitor intranet usage analytics, identify trends, and provide data-driven insights to improve the platform. Stay abreast of the latest intranet best practices, technologies, and digital communication trends. Provide training and guidance to employees on how to navigate and maximize the intranet and its features. Part of an editorial team that plans, writes, and publishes engaging internal and external communications that include employee profiles, feature articles on Louisville Water initiatives, employee benefits and events. Diligent in maintaining style consistency and brand standards. Serve as a back-up to managing LouisvilleWater.com including adding and/or editing content. A member of the department's emergency and crisis response team, delivering timely, and regular updates as required. WORKING CONDITIONS Work is in an office environment with occasional hybrid. Requires travel to company locations to meet with employees in various departments. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Associates Degree, preferably Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Content, Journalism, or English; and Two (2) years of experience in digital content and website management; and Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS and CMS platforms. Firsthand experience in writing and publishing digital content and/or helping manage an intranet site; and Valid driver's license. OR Bachelor's Degree, preferably Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Digital Content, Journalism, or English; and One (1) year of experience in digital content and website management Familiarity with basic HTML/CSS and CMS platforms.
